Asian Thai Meatballs

This recipe is an absolute favorite. It's quick, easy and always turns out pretty close to the same. It's so easy for potluck style get togethers and most people love the Asian/tai zing of the ginger and coconut aminos.

1 lb ground meat (turkey, beef, lamb. )

1 large carrot, shredded

2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

1 chili (of choice), chopped

1/2 cup green onion, chopped

2 tbsp ginger, graded

2 tbsp coconut amions (or soy sauce)

1 egg Tai Sauce

1/4 cup coconut aminos (or soy sauce)

1/4 cup chicken stock or bone broth

2 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp fish sauce

2 tsp ginger, grated

1 tsp chili paste (you can skip this)


1Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F)

2In a bowl, combine all meatball ingredients. Mix and form into balls, I used my hands.

3Place balls on a lined baking sheet. Bake 20-25 mins.

4While your meatballs are baking, combine all sauce ingredients in a small pot over medium heat.

5Once your sauce is boiling, stir, & reduce heat to a simmer.

6Be sure your meatballs are cooked fully and pour or dip your meatballs into your sauce. Enjoy!

Additional Notes

I loved the meatballs on top of an Asian inspired salad, yum.
