Lime, cilantro, ginger, and green onion rock take these burgers to a whole new level. I promise you won't even notice they aren't made with beef.

Main Ingredients

1 pound of ground pork

2 tablespoons green onion

2 tablespoons cilantro

zest and juice of a lime

2 tablespoons grated ginger

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

4 rings of pineapple, cored

coconut oil sprayed on grill

Preparation

1Heat grill or grill pan to medium heat.

2In medium bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix with your hands and divide into four patties.

3Cook burgers on grill until cooked through and firm, about 6 minutes a side depending on the thickness.

4Remove from heat and allow them to rest. Meanwhile, grill pineapple rings 2-3 minutes per side or until sugar has caramelized into char marks.

5Serve on a bun or bunless with grilled pineapple, guacamole, cilantro, or anything else that floats your boat!

Additional Notes

You could easily substitute ground turkey or chicken for the pork, just make sure the meat is not too lean or you will sacrifice some flavor and juiciness.
