Apple Wrapper Pie

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Peel, slice, and core the apples. Mix the sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir in the apples. Roll out the pie crust so it's fairly large. Pour the pie mixture in the center and fold the edges over the apples. (The crust does not need to meet in the middle.) Cook in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
