Main Ingredients

1/2 an apple, cooked

1/2 cup greek or plain yogurt*

1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked

1/4 cup raisins

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup water

Preparation

1Put oatmeal and raisins in microwave-safe bowl with 1/2 cup of water. Microwave for 2 minutes.

2Steam apples for 5-10 minutes, test for doneness.

3Put all ingredients in blender, adding liquid in small increments as necessary until it’s smooth.

4*When they say not to give cow’s milk to babies, they mean as a replacement for formula and breast milk. Cow’s milk doesn’t have all the nutrients babies need, and it’s difficult for their digestive systems to handle that much protein. It’s totally fine to give them a little yogurt mixed in with their food.
