8 Hour Slow Cooker Turkey Legs

Usually a Fall/Winter season dish, however, since a slow cooker is used, all-year-round works as well!

Main Ingredients

8 turkey legs/drumsticks

4 tbsp abstract spice

4 lemons, cut in half

1 onion, chopped

4 cloves of garlic, crushed

1/4 cup grapeseed oil

2 bay leaves

6 cups water

coarse sea salt


1In a large slow cooker on low, add Abstract Spice and dissolve with 1 cup water.

2Rinse turkey legs thoroughly.

3For each turkey leg, rub completely with a lemon half.

4Rub each lemon-cleaned leg with approximately 1 tbsp coarse sea salt and place in slow cooker.

5Drop in crushed garlic cloves, onion, and bay leaves.

6Drizzle in grape seed oil.

7Add remaining water until turkey legs are just covered.

8Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

9Remove bay leaves and dig in!
