3 Wink's Chocolate Pecan Pie
Favorite Pecan Pie made even more decadent with the addition of chocolate! Don't forget the whipped cream!

1 9" unbaked pie crust
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. light corn syrup
dash of salt
1/3 c. melted butter
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. pecan halves
1Prepare the pie crust and put it in a 9" pie dish.
2In the bottom of the crust, spread the pecans and then put the chocolate chips on top of them.
3In a bowl, beat the 3 eggs with a whisk. Add the sugar, syrups, salt and butter and whisk together until well blended.
4Pour the egg mixture over the pecans and chips.
5Bake in a 420 degree oven for 15 min.
6Lower the heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 40 more minutes. Cool well before serving, topped with whipped cream.
